Long ago, a search began for the most effective advertising that a company could use. We sought to promote a board-game company those decades ago, and perhaps still will.
It was immediately obvious that we would need to have an extremely sharp capacity to let everyone know who we were, what we could provide them, and why they would want it.
We learned right away the toughest lesson about the modern world, it takes so much money to MAKE money. Manifesting our dreams at first seemed like it would just be about having an idea of how to fulfill a market need or entertain people in a new way, but we were finding that the way our economic system is established, if you have money, it's easy enough to invest to get more, but if you don't... you can get stuck pouring all your efforts into simply surviving.
Trying to raise a family, keep a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, proper transportation, health care, child care... it took everything we had to stay just out of reach of ruin. At a point we were about to have a vehicle paid off then lost it, along with the current job at the time, to a random faultless high speed accident. Years were spent with parents supplementing income levels that weren't enough to stay afloat despite being full time and more.
Dreams felt like they could solve EVERYTHING, but were simply impossible to manifest due to a lack of time, money, and required skills.
Keenly aware of our frustrations, we vowed that if we were to find an inexpensive way to break free from the gravitational pull of scarcity, we would do all we could to share that power with others as inexpensively as we could, so that many other dreamers like ourselves could benefit from the same information.
At first, we entered sales positions, looking for the keys to negotiating deals. Executive technology system lead generation led to flier distribution and coupon driven ad sales for small local businesses. We learned that print ads were dying fast - perhaps would never be completely dead, but companies were seeing the digital future already growing, even social media was only beginning to be effective. Many people had yet to even create profiles and get onboard.
General grinding telemarketing was lucrative during this time, perhaps no less annoying to people. Little is worse than making your living by annoying people as they simply try to live their lives. Nevertheless, we were good at it with our previous experiences, which led to telemarketer room management, to helping homeowners save their homes during the housing market collapse.
As that cooled off, SEO was a rapidly growing industry and we dove into learning all about and selling SEO, both organic and Google Pay-Per click services. We learned how difficult it is to find a company that was honest and wasn't out to hold your website hostage if you felt you needed to move on from their effective but overpromised services.
We were then central in driving the launch of a Twitter advertising business that was extremely powerful and promising until Twitter cut off the entire strategy at the knees by ejecting our program, identifying our discussion response software as bot-driven since it could work so rapidly and effectively. Social media platforms take offense to competition for their own advertising dollars! Go figure, right?
What could NOT be denied at this stage was how powerful social media was becoming. The world had yet to see how strongly it would really influence society at its roots. Big Company decision-makers were polling at all-time highs to suggest the majority of ad spending would be exploring Social Media options, particularly Facebook.
Telemarketing efforts were dying quickly but refinancing was huge since the interest rates were at all time lows and so many homeowners kept finding they could get better deals than they had. We were fortunate enough to leverage our skills to work for an employer who then caught on to the online coaching revolution and brought us along with him into the amazing world of funnel and online marketing.
He made a LOT of money helping Realtors and Loan Officers use this rapidly growing access to powerful online advertising methods (see our Testimonial section). We found, however, that while teaching people how to use all the new modern site development methods and strategies was possible and lucrative, few clients could really find the time and discipline to put those mechanisms to work for them in full.
There's SO MUCH POWER here but it takes rock solid determination for most professionals that so easily interrupts them simply doing the job they trained to do, like sell homes, coach clients, or provide mortgage services, for example.
Furthermore, we have discovered that this world of technological advertising systems is constantly growing and adapting. Mass opinions shape the landscape as fast as it forms. Which social media platforms will be successful tomorrow are NOT the same as they are today, just as they aren't the same now as they were yesterday. New laws are constantly emerging in response to information management effectiveness. Companies find new ways to limit competitors or innovate new AI mechanisms. Reactions to the rising sense of intrusion can overnight short-circuit an effective ad campaign, forcing constant adaptation.
Professionals and do-it-yourselfers alike need HELP to stay on top of all this, help from those who make it their dedicated goal to constantly keep themselves on the forefront of a tsunami of daily updates.
